For Texas, though, I’m wondering if it’s “out of state” people moving there, or more rural or suburban folks already in Texas migrating to “the big city” near them for jobs and stuff.
Bonita Springs (next door to me) and Ft Myers (next door to that) Fl are there too. Naples, where I am, often makes that list.
I’m not surprised as both those parts of Texas and FL are great places to start a business or to retire to with good climate.
That’s good. I like to see cities thriving. Big cities tend to skew liberal and Texas is no different with that, although Texas’ flavor of liberal is different than what you might find in up north cities or west coast.
No need to cry. Suburbs is where you find most conservatives, so just go to soccer mom areas.
ugh, L I B E R A L is such a dirty word anymore.
It’s worse than saying Nazi.
You’re a liberal, just a different kind of liberal than me. I don’t think we’re really all THAT far apart in most things but that’s what makes our differences seem so large.
I tend to ally more with marxist type folks because I’m an internet boi and see the power of equal access to basics, the value of sharing code and ideas and the flexibility of it all.
Maybe I got my terms mixed up, I dunno. I always say politics generally bores me.
