For fun, about 10 years ago, I created a mock religion (on paper) to worship creation of the elements: The Church of the Primal Supernova. A Truine situation: The Primal Star that went Supernova, colliding into a Giant Molecular Gas Cloud, whose particular coalesced via (Electrostatics and Gravity) to bring together All That We Are. It avoided the problems of the origins of the Universe as it focuses on Local phenomenon that are tangible; us, our planet, our sun, basically whatever’s reasonably around us was _probably_ all created from that single event. And as far as what happened “Before”, well, other people can worry about that if they like. I never went far with it as an idea, although I set it up to have weekly worship with songs dedicated to various scientific phenomena, subject to change as new discoveries overtake the old,, magic tricks for the kids during the service along with explanations on how they work, and various themes such as various Elements of the Periodic Table.
