For context: a few months ago, my Instagram feed started showing videos of siblings of family members that went to fight and came home to visit or stay from Ukraine. Sometimes the older siblings were intact, like this US soldier in this video in the USA. Sometimes the older siblings were missing arms or legs or an eye, or had other severe bodily injury. But the deep animal cry of relief seeing the old sibling alive was exactly the same in all of them. In that case, the trauma was due to an actual war being fought. They HAVE to go out and fight.
