Food industry in the USA is far too powerful. They’re supported by the anti-regulatory politics such as FEE and such. They want regulations GONE altogether.
They want stuff taken OFF food labels. All that hard work to get ingredients? Taken off. They want calories taken off of fast food menus. It was very hard getting that stuff put on because they fought for their free-speech to NOT have to say those things, etc
