FNAF World and pop culture

Or another example: Pokemon. A new game came out from the Five Night’s at Freddy’s franchise that took the internet culture’s kawaii take on the otherwise creepy animatronics, and made a novel game with direct conscious borrowings from Pokemon for gameplay (with twists), elements from 1980s 8-bit arcadisms [including sound effects… ] and cobbled together a great littlel game. FNAF World.

Got it for my 10 yr old ne yesterday [came out yesterday]. A little pointed absurdism at pop culture while ADDING TO pop culture… love it.
