First off, AOC clearly likes the standard order of government and working within it.
So right away, with nothing else, she starts at the dead center of the political compass. Status quo.
But she wants a split: status quo government, which is center, but more democratic policies for the people, which slides her just a little left of center and a bit more anarchist but not much.
IF she was far left? She’d be advocating the overthrow of the government or being a hippie and not caring about the government either way.
