FINALLY Joe got convinced of *something*.
He’s the “pink underwear” sheriff. He’s the tent-city sheriff. He’s the, I can’t remember HOW many times he showed up doing some new weird thing to people Sheriff that I couldn’t believe kept getting re-elected over and over again.
I doubt he’ll serve any time and suspect this is more symbolic than anything.
But I’m glad he got convicted of something. There’s something about “absolute power corrupting” and he’s a good example of that.
