Words don’t exist to describe most feeling clearly, similar to how not every visible color has a precise name, but even more complicated than that, more akin to attempting to name every sound you hear in a simple, precise and accurate way, to how naming a chord that’s played does not account for ambient room temperature, the amount of spittle in the trumpet or the fingerprints of the keyboardist.

Feeling has more nuance than names and our inability to always be able to recognize what our current feelings are or the feelings of others results in continual misunderstandings in communication, both within ourselves and with others.

Do feelings produce images? They can.
