fair point, although I believe the various math professors that have got on board with it are all acting in complete earnest. It seems each college is able to really customize their courses as they like, so long as they hit the standards for the courses and looking at what each of the colleges have been doing in their MGF 1106/7 courses, they all seem to cover the same materials but each go about it in very different ways so I think the profs who do this are enjoying it – and are in earnest. [certainly more than the politicians of course]
