Facebook’s important to me. It’s my main connection to other minds of similar intelligence and empathy levels as me from different perspectives.
Before Facebook it was forums. Before forums it was Usenet. Before Usenet it was LISTSERVs and BBS’.
And before that I spent a lot of time in the public library looking at big books of statistics trying to survey different aspects of humanity from as many perspectives as possible. Guiness book of world records. Kinsey’s Sexual Behavior of the Human Male. That takes me back to about age 14.
Prior to 14, I’d read “Youth: from 9-15 to know what my future held and to see my present self as it was (I think I was 12 when I read it).
Prior to that, I dunno, I did a lot of reacting socially and not always how I’d like.
So yeah, for me, this is important to me. The people on here are important to me. Not in depth but as a butterfly that goes from flower to flower. Always been that way I think.

I mean, i do other things in life and have done but i could never communicate like this in person. writing such as it is is my forte but not books so much but everyday communication
