The paper still exists and runs. They have a high subscription because it’s hard to get local news elsewhere.
I occasionally glance at it in the library, once they started charging for it online but in the end, I just stopped caring as much about local stuff.

Me muddah uses an online service that compares local supermarket rates weekly. But she’s been online since AOL 90s days, as her nerdy son told her, “come on mah, you’ll love it” and she did.

If you’re looking for marketing purposes, local papers have the circulation rates on the inside front cover. We never had luck using them for biz ads, but online ads a moderate success. Facebook’s local scope advertising is pretty good tbh and very controllable financially.

Well, you could highlight the ecological benefits of the newspaper. How green it is. Bio-degradable. Great for cleaning windows and rifles and lining the litterbox. So many things a newspaper can be used for post-read that smartphones and computers just can’t compete with
