yeah, online sarcasm usually falls pretty flat unless you’re with a group of like-minded ppl. I don’t usually bother engaging in it much ’cause it’s too much drama for my taste.

Sometimes I’ll see trolling partners, where three or four + like-minded ppl share their own inside jokes, liking each other’s stuff and my mind goes back to giggling mean girls in the 7th grade. Not my thing, but some people like it.

People end up identifying me wrong most of the time as well. I used to love it in atheist forums. All I gotta do is say I’m agnostic and I get to watch the 20 questions game begin. They like to put me on a four-square chart that holds some magical meaning of truth for them.
They try anyway, but I know their little tricks. After a while though it got boring.
Last bunch of months I’ve been hanging around the alt rights and seeing what happens. Same kind of thing. I figure out what triggers someone into action. I hang around and participate ’til they realize they were played. It’s a test of their ability to laugh at themselves. If they can’t, well, then they got issues.

The men vs women, black vs white, cops vs hoodrats thing doesn’t usually hold a _whole_ lot of interest to me. I’ll participate but it’s not really one of my core issues.
But I enjoy going after the science / religion thing ’cause I like science but have a lot of respect for the best things religions offer people. This manages to piss off a LOT of people indeed. I end up trolling just by being honest… and finding my opinions about certain things that I know will set some people off.
