I’m mostly at peace with a layering situation that can be leaky or not.

You can have sporadic fluctuations that coalesce exhibiting behaviors that are not as random and tend towards “typicals”.

These typicals are a “reduction but not too reduced”.

Other error in thought I think may be considering such typicals as entities of their own without any construction.

sri sri’s got a point about falling into habits when stressed. Constraints upon a system can limit choices. But sometimes they can expose previously unseen choices because of the perspective shift.
