Eh, I don’t have chicken legs (not saying you do), so shorts are fine for me. Walking around with an overheated head because I’m too vain to wear shorts isn’t my thing.

I work from home, on back lanai most of the day so pants wouldn’t work for me. I did office work up north (systems analyst) and hated being inside. Snuck out as much as I could.

fabric office walls that looked like a rejected Star Trek TNG set 20 yrs out of date were bad enough.
I could probably do hospital work though as long as I kept moving.

I worked with disabled kids (cerebral palsy + stuff) long ago with similar hours. Never sat down, always something going on. The school was antiseptic but tolerable as I liked the work. But it was the same people every day. Not sure how I’d do with constant rotation like a hospital.

I could do that, like a long term care thing. Get to know the people and stuff. Nursing home would be similar but you need a strong back to deal with large people, so screw that.

It’s a curse to be strong everywhere but have a shit back. It’s like a toothpick. Good stance and I can push a car out of a ditch. But bend twist and stand and I’m done for. Oh well. Anyway glad you’re in a helping profession. World needs that.

I was born at 6 months way back when so it might’ve been that or from doing weights as a teenager without proper support. Whatever. Just grateful for what I got which is a lot. Anyway, once your edgyteen bit is turned off, you’re alright.

You should write headlines. Well, you get people talking and you work at defending your hills, so that’s alright but you can’t blame people for putting you in the edgiboi box.
