Early 1980s USA? In a super wealthy neighborhood? 15 yrs old? Nobody but friends would believe. Cops wouldn’t believe at that time. This is before rape kits existed, and rape had to have bloody ripped flesh and emergency room to even start an investigation. Even then, wealthly families (or in this case, probably the school itself) would just pay the local police to stay quiet. That’s how things worked. So, attempted rape happens to you at 15 yrs old. You can’t do a damn thing about it. You get on with your life as best you can. You try to put it behind you. But in 2011 you start seeing a therapist because it’s still eating away at you, like a war incident that you just can’t shake. Now it’s 2018. That guy whose face and name is burned in your memory is going to be a Justice of the Supreme Court. 1 out of 9 VERY powerful people. It’s for life. Now what? If you say something, they’ll rip you to shreds over it, death threats, try to destroy you. So you wait, hope it goes away. But it won’t. Hearings continue. Now you know America is going to change by a guy you know is lying. What happens when you speak up? Everything you feared. The worst part for a victim? Not being believed. It’s not a story people want to tell about themselves.

Is he a non-partisan judge who will interpret the US Constitution in a way that will keep in mind all of the American people? He is not.Denying allegations was the wrong move. The correct move is: “Investigate for I did nothing wrong.”Also, today, he claimed it was a conspiracy against him by the Democrats.”The Democrats” are a large part of the population of the USA.By drawing a line, he excludes them.  It’s not. She got on with her life, went to therapy for her trauma. That is normal US behavior. To announce it can subject her to ridicule and threats by the powerful, which is EXACTLY what happened when she DID speak up.

I don’t think you understand how powerful the boys from Georgetown Prep School and Yale are. It’s a powerful, tight group.

He’s in a class that’s not one paycheck away from homeless.I don’t feel much sympathy for the very wealthy. It’s my bias.If he was a regular guy, I’d be more compassionate.

They need new toys… I mean weapons. Anyhow, I don’t relate to Kavanaugh at all. He’s been coddled his whole life and his tears are adolescent tears.

It’s power difference. I can’t deny its reality.

With power, comes responsibility. All should be but the powerful moreso. If I commit a crime, a fine is a big deal because I’m not wealthy. But if I commit a crime and was wealthy, I don’t pay I fine. I pay a price tag.How much does it cost to do what I want? What’s the price tag? They can pay it.

Kavanaugh’s calender had a party on July 1 1982 listing names.
Dr. Ford didn’t see that calender nor any of us until 2 days ago.
But she gave the therapist the same names 7 yrs ago.
Same names in July 2018.Same party.

If they do, it’s reckoning time soon.
