I don’t worry too much about it. The next president, whoever it is, will approve a future bill to dismantle it. It was dead on arrival, broken before it started.
Each president always dismantles _something_ from the previous presidency.
Obama removed the “No Child Left Behind” act of Bush’s era for example. Took a long time for that mess to go away and not until Common Core rode in on its coat-tails before it finally got the axe.
Even if Clinton got the Presidency, the most likely candidate to keep something like it, for popularity’s sake, she’d dismantle it and institute something else, probably closer to whatever she was shooting for in the 90s.
Any of the others will _definitely_ dismantle it. So, it’s just a waiting game right now.
