e optimistic than optimists!)

Wow – two great answers so far. I like to think of an pessimist as a disappointed optimist (pessimists are bitter because they really DO want things to be better – and in the midst of the complaining, they secretly hope somebody will come along and prove them WRONG, which, in a weird way, makes pessimists more optimistic than optimists!) “
