Dude, I’ve been online since I was 17 years old. I was of the era of: “On the internet, nobody knows you’re a dog” I don’t usually pay much mind to people’s ages or genders and treat everybody the same unless told otherwise. You may be of an era where people were forced to use their real names online and be their offline selves online, but it wasn’t so long ago that getting online was “be who you want” and you couldn’t tell what someone was and that was fine – as long as someone wasn’t being criminal or anything.
