Documentaries usually intend to pursuade and use various gimmicks to do so. It’s one of the reasons why the last documentary I watched was around 2013/14. I didn’t someone emotionally pursuading me using music and drama and authorities saying things in a particular way to convince me of something; even if it’s something I already believed in. So it does matter. One of the reasons I don’t watch videos is they’re overly produced and persuasive.
