Oh that’s the truth 100%. I’ve been like that. I think we all suffer from overconfidence in our rational abilities now and again. I’m glad you stuck around this subthread long enough for the “a-ha” moment to click on ’cause this kind of discernment is something I think most people don’t have the patience or humility to even attempt to gain.

They think they’ve already ‘got it’. Pick up a worldview, apply all of their input to it, and out churns the right answers every time. But man, I wish it was that easy. I haven’t found a bulletproof system yet. Still constructing mine.
