“deepfake” technology is free, very easy to use and can be fun. The videos showing Trump, Biden and Obama playing Minecraft together are a great use of the technology for humor – and letting us just imagine they’re all really friends just for a few minutes. But there are dark sides to the technology. Some States and countries are working on or passing legislation to try to curb their usage or identify it for political advertising and I believe some are going to institute some stuff penalties for those who don’t comply. Do you think AI usage should be regulated or do you think it should be free-to-use, let the chips fall where they may, cavaet emptor?
