damn, i love how you’re thinking here. My “gardener’s” thing I came up with I was like 20 years old. I’d just learned about him and was blown away and started taking lots of notes about this perfect religious-institution-for-everybody. That and a hollow metal ball with holes and angles bent in order to play chords depending on which way the wind blew. Never built either but it’s fun to dream.

I’d designed lots of things, none practical but they felt that way when I did. built-it yourself living pots in hexagons using standard materials easily found in home improvement stores (expandable to any size), self-cooling/heating homes built half underground with long wide tubes underground to catch earth temperature and carry it through… Minecraft-like building blocks for housing/businesses that were light enough for humans to manage and strong enough for wind code…

I don’t know if managing weather or managing social systems is easier or harder though
