coordinated inference is fascinating. it brought me back to different encoding strategies like manchester code (self clocking code), then hamming parity bits, and somehow I ended up at theory of mind impairment in autism, whereby everything functions correctly except for the encoding of belief of others while tracking and self knowledge is perfectly intact, which would seem similar to a bit that did not having proper timing set in advance, which would cause it to fail at coordinated inference tasks on a regular basis.
