Ok, I think I’m getting a better and better ‘feel’ for what’s “state of the art” of computer painting. It’s only last year that an experimental “wet paint” program was unveiled. I thought we were “there” already but not quite yet.
 
This simulates the texture of oil painting along with the mixing and such. I see a slight delay while they work with it which would probably drive me nuts. So, computers still have to get a little faster and graphics cards need a bit more memory to be able to achieve a real life simulation of painting. It’s getting closer but not quite there yet.
