It’s all about the connections. But, computers do well at connecting similar things together, copy and paste seems to be the ultimate in connecting different things together.
Look at how hard it is to set up a relational database! I think, this is why I love copy and paste and Microsoft Excel they both do well at connecting together different things easily.
