Eisenhower had government experience though. I mean, you can’t be in the military without knowing how politics (not dem vs republican but politics in general) works.
Trump though, never seems to have had that. Some think the unknown is new and fresh and different and has pizazz and everybody’s putting their own dreams onto him and he’s loving it.
What’ll really happen? Who knows. Not too thrilled about Pence ’cause he seems to be an evangelical – and they’ve been trying to get into the Executive Office for a very very long time now.
Clinton’s a typical politician (to me) in female form, and Kaine is, well, he’d be a capable but invisible President.

Yeah, I’m not thrilled with her foreign policy. But, they each have crappy foreign policies, one’s pretty certain (Clinton) the other, not so much.
I just wish we weren’t using Syria as a proxy war with Russia. Embarrasses me amongst my international friends.

tbh, I haven’t seen much difference between Reagan, Bush dad, Clinton, Bush or Obama. Those are the Presidents in my living memory (outside of Carter, who to me used to be a Peanut farmer – I didn’t know much about him as I was too little).
