Christopher George Buckner I don’t think it’s part of standard Islamic practice but there is an old tradition that’s very similar to other monastic practices from Christianity and Judaism and Buddhism but I think it involves some whirling? whirling dervish? I don’t remember anymore. The Greek orthodox have the Jesus prayer and the Roman catholic have the hail mary
