Can we cut the threads of the puppeteer that is our background? Not entirely but we can get the strings a lot looser.

I don’t think we can cut the threads entirely but I believe we can tug on the puppeteers strings so he/she can loose up the grip and let us use our own impetus for movement.

I don’t think we can fully escape the context we were raised in, nor the genes we were born with. But, that being said, we can grow to the utmost of our abilities and expand ourselves to an amazing degree.

I think we could probably achieve 65%-79% freedom from the strings that pull us. But we’ll always be pulled back somewhat by our primary languages and the unexamined assumptions that we grew up with that we may have begun to learn from even before we could talk.
