But you want to know what it feels like in a safe environment.

Haven’t read it. But it was a common book for girls between 10-14. Probably still is. No surprise, really. They’re *in* the ages of _actual_ middle-school passive-aggression, horror movies, the age of truth or dare, ouiji boards, roleplaying being “sexy”, etc.

It’s like Roller coaster rides. You don’t REALLY WANT to fall to your doom at 50 MPH.

But you want to know what it feels like in a safe environment.

And a book is a bunch of words, a movie a bunch of images and sounds. Pretty safe. Still… seems kinda twisted just the same, and I think those that enjoy the book haven’t grown out of their fantasy adolescent mind.

But I never understood rape fantasies.

Then again, my favorite TV show since I was 8 (Doctor Who) was about a guy who whisks you away to adventures through Time and Space and shows you things you couldn’t possibly imagine, whereas in reality, I don’t like to travel and only do it when I have to and make the best of it.

So, not so different I suppose.
