But we’re still in 2015. I hope you find the answer that works in your situation. When I hear of issues I just want to grab a magic wand and make them all go away.

Thanks by the way – you sparked me to write a little blurb (on my profile) about this, but in a general way. Changes in society won’t be in time to help… I feel awful to my gut that you’re having to wrestle with this dilemma at all – that parents of other-gendered children everywhere have to wrestle with this issue. Inspired me to search, to see if there’s _some_ sign of changes somewhere in society. It seems the transgender movement has been helping make some strides here.

I mean think about it: you’re being forced to separate from Quinn just so he can use a bathroom. As of 2015, there’s nothing do be done. How it is. There’s some weird uncrossable line there. A social wall.

I feel awful that you’re going through this. So many go through this. Won’t be in time to help but I think someday perhaps the issue will just vanish. I was lucky enough to get a taste of it at college but of course that’s the ivory tower idealism of colleges. But that little revolutionary spark still burns – a little hope that someday common difficult issues will just disappear.

But we’re still in 2015. I hope you find the answer that works in your situation. When I hear of issues I just want to grab a magic wand and make them all go away.
