Yup. The rules are easy too. You stay surface. I get anxiety in large crowd social situations, like due to deafness (birth defect – it’s a struggle to interpret ONE person’s words – and I hide it well in small groups). I get very anxious and make an excuse and leave. Too much input at once.

But I can navigate for short periods of time. Smile, say the expected things. It’s not rocket science. I prefer finding one quiet person I can just sit with who doesn’t like talking much, or if he/she does, it’s deep talk that helps me block out the rest of a noisy environment.
