It’s weird; I never got into computer-based music production. WAY back in the early 80s, I had an “Orchestra 90CC” for my Tandy Color Computer 2 that let me program sound shapes and it had 5 voices in stereo…. and then in the late 80s/early 90s I had a music program for my Tandy Deskmate computer…
but i never got into trackers… or the plug-in setups. I’d look at them and just go, “blech” because they reminded me of an Electronic Music class I took in 1990 with an ARP. It was fun mind you but all those cables tongue emoticon

I liked doing stuff live. Like here, in 2001, I hooked my Korg into a cheap keyboard and then into a 4-track cassette mixer thing, then mixed it down to 2 channel.
I _think_ I might have accidentally grabbed it from the cassette in mono off of an old walkman I had hanging around… I forget if it went up there in stereo.
But basically, I would just sit there and twiddle knobs and play whatever.
I never had the patience to edit anything.
