The democratization of not only information but content creation and distribution is one of the things that early on made me a strong internet advocate.
I wanted – and still want – EVERYBODY to be able to get online and _express_.
I don’t care if individual sites or services have rules of conduct: the beauty of the internet is that there’s ALWAYS a way for the determined to have their voice heard.
SOME input in your environment. SOME say in matters important to you. Just _something_: it’s so critical. Nobody should ever feel entirely alone and trapped.

So, I consider myself an Ally for youth rights and a lot of times that means I step away. Power differences are currently still quite real so I work on keeping that in mind.
