Belief on its own is weak. It’s not very powerful. Unshakable faith is still weak.

Belief has multiple, overlapping _implications_ but at its root, it’s synonymous with:

“acceptance of the existence of/truth of…”
“trust, faith, or confidence in….”

“faith, trust, reliance, confidence, credence” are all replaceable words, each with nuances and their own implications but they’re fundamentally interchangeable.

But it’s generally a weak concept.

They all _imply_ doubt within it.

A stronger concept is:
Expectation.
Expected outcome.

When a ball gets larger and larger as it comes towards me, I don’t just BELIEVE it’s going to hit me. I EXPECT it to hit me.

Strong belief. In fact, the strength of the belief is SO STRONG, that I’d be shocked if the ball getting larger passed through me.

Belief on its own is weak. It’s not very powerful.

Unshakable faith is still weak.

But expectation is strong. Expectations are, “This is just the way it’s gonna be”.
