To avoid hyperbole, it means not sharing memes much, avoiding documentaries generally and researching. After all, we’re all on the same Internet, so it’s not hard to look up a few sites to double-check things.

Yeah, the telephone game; *sigh* -it’s really everywhere. And we’re so easily fooled; all someone has to do is say, “Scientists say [x]” or “Statistics show [y]” and we believe it. Or we hear horrible news about a person and don’t question it for a second.I get caught up in it sometimes and I don’t like that feeling of being manipulated, so I fight it as much as I can.
