well, as a kid I wanted to be a game designer ’til people talked me out of it. 80s. Everything 8-bit. They said “games are for kids and have no future”. 16 yrs old. Broken hearted. Secret played for a few years longer, did some beta testing, finally thought, “ok, they’re right ‘adult time’.
But, they were wrong. So very wrong. I don’t regret it but since that point I encourage gaming, creativity and all those things, internet access for all, and been lucky enough to watch all my dreams coming true for society. So, no complaints. I’m happy.
