Of course. They’re just anecdotal and examples of problems that CAN emerge within the construct of the family unit.

I don’t think families are *bad* in and of themselves. For example, I don’t think the state would necessarily be a better choice to raise kids for example and full autonomy isn’t practical through to a certain (unknown to me) level – babies and toddlers at least to start – because there is at least SOME PERIOD of social grooming necessary in order to function in society.

BUT, nevertheless, there are problems that sometimes get ignored and glossed over. and they’re worth pointing out.
