BASED just means agreeable. I see it in right and left political meme groups. BASED and Red-Pilled means “I agree with you and you speak the truth”. Right-wing always tries to claim every memetic imagery phrasing as their own, rather like ISIS used to claim every bombing was theirs when it clearly wasn’t.
