Bal Simon if I understand it right, I think it means that there are different kinds of things in the universe
so rather than everything being made of the same simple stuff, there might be different kinds of things that are incompatible with one another
I don’t think it’s strictly true – that is – everything probably does simplify down to something
but I’m not gonna find out what that is in my lifetime so I might as well treat some things as different just to be able to function
it’s a bit stronger than “it’s just your perspective man “or “it’s all contextual” – because it allows for the existance of parallel realities next to each other that can intersect but also be different
