At the level I have control, I have control.
At the levels I don’t have control, I don’t have control.
I don’t control the weather.
But I can control my air conditioner.

I had biofeedback lessons as a kid. Controlled a computer with by consciously changing my feelings. Played video games by making myself angry and calming down. It was a feedback loop and my choices were involved in that process.
Had I not made conscious, willing choices, nothing would happen.
