As someone likely on the autistic spectrum, lying doesn’t come naturally for me. It’s a conscious effort, a habit I had to acquire and use when necessary as an unfortunate social tool. It’s likely I’m coming at the world from an entirely different direction than you: It’s likely you grew up with the social construct of lying as normal and have learned that maybe honesty is another possibility. But for me I don’t have to imagine a world where everybody tells the truth. That’s my world and I have to fight NOT to always tell the truth.
