as somebody who likes science and enjoys reading papers I barely understand (I go straight to the end parts where they summarize it and look at pretty pictures and try to find example videos) – i also have arguments with folks like this;
I don’t know who Kurzegesagt or ThunderF00t is; never been on r/AskScience – and my interest in evolution is how it relates to cellular automata (not Wolfram – he does his own thing) but more computational stuff – and climate is kind of obvious but there’s lots of other more interesting things.
and don’t get me started on hold left in the dark ages notion. BBC nonsense from the 60s I think.
