It’s hard not to see some Edgar Cayce mixed with Jung and 19th/early 20th century Theosophy along with some Joseph Campbell oversimplification in that though.

Bias always has to be checked and taken into account, no matter how plausible a story may seem. No story stands alone and the bias of the interpreter and the movements that influenced him/her has to be noted no matter how logical it may sound.
