ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
NOW I SEE what I DID: I combined several different mathematical and philosophical concepts into “ontology” within a “domain of discourse” as commonly used in “Artificial Intelligence”.
The following specified its own purpose as “for the purposes of the following” but I don’t know my purpose.

” What is in an ontology?
The Artificial-Intelligence literature contains many definitions of an ontology; many of these contradict one another. For the purposes of this guide an ontology is a formal explicit description of concepts in a domain of discourse (classes (sometimes called concepts)), properties of each concept describing various features and attributes of the concept (slots (sometimes called roles or properties)), and restrictions on slots (facets (sometimes called role restrictions)). An ontology together with a set of individual instances of classes constitutes a knowledge base. In reality, there is a fine line where the ontology ends and the knowledge base begins.”

Ok I’m understanding better. I may be able to connect it all shortly.

Ontological pluralism
“In contemporary guise, it is the doctrine that a logically perspicuous description of reality will use multiple quantifiers which cannot be thought of as ranging over a single domain.”

“Domain of discourse”
In the formal sciences, the domain of discourse, also called the universe of discourse, universal set, or simply universe, is the set of entities over which certain variables of interest in some formal treatment may range.

SEMANTICS!
Is _this_ the main strange attractor I’ve been cycling and getting closer and closer to?
