“An attender’s endogenous oscillation literally becomes briefly “glued” (i.e., coupled) to an external event.” That moment of linking your neural oscillations with the oscillations happening in the outside world whatever their mode (visual, auditory (the music of it), etc. External intrudes on your inner and they glue together and try to sync up or not but for at least one moment they’re glued and interacting.

That moment of linking your neural oscillations with the oscillations happening in the outside world whatever their mode (visual, auditory (the music of it), etc.

External intrudes on your inner and they glue together and try to sync up or not but for at least one moment they’re glued and interacting.

In fact, real- world events are often unruly, subject to sudden unexpected changes in phase and force. For in- stance, a soothing lullaby sung by a mother to her infant can be suddenly perturbed by the injection of a loud sound from a malfunctioning washing machine. This not only causes an unscheduled pause in the mother’s song, it also inserts a dis- turbing forceful sound into the melody.—-

haven’t — I’ve been going the long, slow way in figuring things out as I’m trying to tie together various ideas I have with what I’m curious about in the way that I think things should work without entirely knowing how I think things should work. SO it’s been a dance, Mostly I just follow my curiousity so it’s always fun.
