Always liked Buffett. We can’t duplicate a lot of his investing style (investing in re-investment firms was one of his strongest moves, although he gets hits whenever there’s a natural disaster), nor should most of us, but a lot of his advice is excellent and he certainly knows his stuff.
One of the things I love about him is that he’s ethical. Does he use the tax laws to his advantage? Sure – he’s not stupid. He paid about 16% rather than 27% when all was said and done. But he can stand behind it with a clear conscience.
Buffett, the god of investing, kicks it up a notch for Trump. From our perspective, they’re peers. Trump doesn’t seem to like his peers much.
