Almost done with Pearl’s Probablistic Reasoning in Intelligent Systems and found a pointer to something closer to my area of interest:
Reasoning about change : time and causation from the standpoint of artificial intelligence by Yoav Shoham
I have it now. I’m still going to jump to 2016 and read “Mathematics by Experiment” because I want to torture myself a little further, but then I think my nerdy reward will be going back in time to 1988 and reading “Reasoning about Change” and then seeing what advances were made in time and causation for intelligent systems since then. [hopefully I’ll see hints of it in “Mathematics by Experiment”]
