That’s said, it’s a damn fun hobby.
Now with DNA stuff, I love trying to figure out odd “cousin connections” It’s definitely a privilege thing, having records tracing back to Pilgrim days. How much of that is accurate? I dunno. But as a shared delusion, it’s a blast.

It’s yahoos like me that work on genealogy records, not just mine but many and my mistakes become other people’s family histories.
And that is true for others doing what I do back down through history. So, grain of salt. That’s all. In the end, we’re 99.44% identical anyway.
