all of those things being framed as “computational resources” are vital to our thinking mechanisms

thanks smile emoticon and it’s one of the things that adds weight to my belief in embodied cognition (or its variants) as being a better model for how the brain works) – with the assumption that all of those things being framed as “computational resources” are vital to our thinking mechanisms. In short, we can *try* to go “top down” but really, without including the environment (both everything around us, including people) and our bodies, thinking of our brain as being “all itself and in itself” rather than an outcropping of the systems it finds itself in… we’ll continually run into the same problems over and over again.

So, yeah, that describes my love life. smile emoticon
