AI isn’t any more complicated than refreshing an Excel spreadsheet with a a few new figures added in.

AI’s not hard. I worked with it a little in 1990/1991 at college and today’s AI is of the same 2nd generation AI.

First generation of AI was Turing. But 2nd generation AI is here and it’s everywhere. We’re using it now. Facebook utilizing a lot of AI algorithms. Google has tons. You play video games? There’s AI all over video games. It’s nothing novel.

Neural networking is a simple feedback loop that’s weighted and calculated.

For a computer, “thinking for yourself” is just a program that modifies its weights of importance, modifies its own database based upon novel information and reweights everything with the new inputs.

My Microsoft Excel 2000 can do that. AI isn’t any more complicated than refreshing an Excel spreadsheet with a a few new figures added in.

All the concern about AI is based on fiction.
